AIT Director Raymond Greene Visits TaiwanICDF
American Institute in Taiwan (AIT) Director Raymond Greene visited the TaiwanICDF on Nov. 20. The visit was hosted by TaiwanICDF Secretary-General Huang Yu-Lin, who extended Greene a warm welcome. In his opening remarks, Huang highlighted the strong friendship between Taiwan and the United States. He spoke about the TaiwanICDF's ongoing collaborations with USAID and the U.S. International Development Finance Corporation (DFC) on various projects across different regions. Huang expressed hope for closer and more frequent bilateral exchanges in the future, with both sides joining hands to develop new initiatives.
During today’s meeting, several departments at the TaiwanICDF gave presentations, providing the distinguished guests with an overview of current Taiwan-U.S. collaboration. Huang and Greene also exchanged views on potential future cooperation and shared insights into their respective collaborations with other international aid organizations.
Echoing the spirit of unity referenced by Lin during the baseball event’s theme song “Let’s Go Together,” Huang said the TaiwanICDF would continue to partner with like-minded nations, while aligning itself with the policies of Taiwan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Together, Taiwan and the U.S. will continue to contribute to the prosperity and sustainability of the global community.
