The Delegation from Nyamira County in Kenya, a Member of the African-Asian Rural Development Organization (AARDO), Visited the TaiwanICDF

On August 30, Hon. Alice Manoti Ombachi, County Minister of Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries in Kenya, led a 5-member delegation to visit the TaiwanICDF. The Secretary General of the TaiwanICDF, Amb. Dr. Charles C. Li warmly welcome the delegation. Both sides then discussed the future bilateral cooperation projects.

“Improving access to basic water sanitation and hygiene in ten health care facilities for vulnerable communities in Garissa County, Kenya” is the only TaiwanICDF’s ongoing projects in the country. The TaiwanICDF also regularly invests in building Kenya’s professional resources. To date, 6 Kenyan have received training in the TaiwanICDF Professional Workshop Program, while 2 Kenyan students will receive funding from the TaiwanICDF International Higher Education Scholarship Program and study in Taiwan this year.
