Project Description:

On 6 February 2023, two devastating earthquakes, measuring 7.8 and 7.6 magnitude, struck the provinces of Gaziantep and Kahramanmaraş in southeastern Türkiye. The total affected areas across 11 provinces with at least 9.1 million people directly impacted by the earthquakes and aftershocks, and the death toll was more than 50,000 (including Syrians present in Türkiye).
