Project Description:
The TaiwanICDF works with its allied hospital to collect usable second-hand medical equipment and deliver to our partner countries according to their requests, and provide the recipients related training courses to use and maintain those equipment appropriately.

Project Objectives:To empower the capacity of recipient hospitals or medical institutions and develop localized healthcare personnel by providing operation and maintainace training courses.
Executing Agency:The TaiwanICDF
Implementation Arrangement:The TaiwanICDF collaborate with Mistry of Foreign Affair, Ministry of Health and Welfare and domestic hospitals to collect and deliver used medical equipment according to our friendly countries' needs.
Project Performance:In 2011 and 2012, four used CT scanners, of value equivalent to US$2 million, were sent to Burkina Faso to upgrade medical equipment in four further hospitals. In 2013 was donated to two hospitals in Gambia of value equivalent to US$167,000, and a hospital in Sao Tome and Principe of value equivalent to US$33,000.
