Last summer, in 2010, we held our first International Cooperation Development Summer Camp. The event proved to be a great way of enhancing students’ knowledge of international cooperation and development and helping Taiwanese and international students to get to know each other better. Participants told us that they’d gained a practical understanding of the issues concerning cooperation and development around the world, and broadened their international point of view.

Following the success of last year’s event, we’ve decided to expand this year’s camp and move the venue to Tainan County.

The 2011 summer camp will be held in two sessions.

The first session will run from July 6-9 with a program designed for students of the liberal arts and humanities, law, management and social sciences. The registration deadline for this session is June 3.

The second session will run from July 8-11 with a program designed for students of engineering, medicine, science, public health, information technology and agriculture. The registration deadline for this session is June 10.

To apply to take part in either session of the camp(only for the students from the Taiwan International Cooperation Alliance (TICA) university), just download the application form, fill it in and return to the program manager of each TICA University.

We will announce the admission list for both sessions of the camp no later than June 24.
