Registration Opens for 2022 TaiwanICDF Higher Scholarship Program

The application for the 2022 TaiwanICDF Scholarship runs from January 1st to March 15th and offers 200 students this year. The program provides young talent from partner countries to pursue higher education in Taiwan.

In response to the change in learning mode in the post-epidemic era, the TaiwanICDF creates the first in-service master's degree program by distance teaching this year, which will provide teachers and public servants from partner countries to study by e-learning regardless of work and time constraints. In addition, in response to the educational system and human resources of industries of the allied nations, the TaiwanICDF added the two-year technical program to increase the number of beneficiaries in the technical and vocational education field. The new scholarship programs with Taiwan's advantages such as tourism and hospitality, disaster management, remote sensing science and technology, and automation engineering are also included. There are 34 courses in various fields such as engineering, agriculture, public health and medicine, business administration, and human resources development for bachelor, master, and Ph. Degree.

More than 2,600 students have received scholarships since the Scholarship Program was initiated in 1998. Through this program, the TaiwanICDF hopes to assist partner countries in cultivating high-level human resources in policy planning, technology, and management while broadening Taiwanese students' horizons, achieving the dual goals of social development and economic growth of partner countries' globalization of Taiwan's universities.
