The Volunteers Services Continue Amid the Pandemic—Call for Applications for TaiwanICDF Overseas Volunteer Service

The International Cooperation and Development Fund (TaiwanICDF) is recruiting long-term and project-based overseas volunteers for 2022. The online application is open from now until February 21, 2022. We welcome all qualified citizens of the Republic of China (Taiwan) to join the TaiwanICDF Overseas Volunteers Program.

The volunteer services include many specialties such as mathematics teaching, computer teaching, health education, biostatistics and carpentry. The dispatch countries include Eswatini, St. Kitts and Nevis, St. Lucia, St. Vincent and the Grenadines, Marshall Islands, Thailand, Kenya and Jordan. For more details, please visit the TaiwanICDF website (http://www.icdf.org.tw) or TaiwanTOV Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/TaiwanTOV). In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, the TaiwanICDF has provided relevant supports to help the volunteers. In addition to providing a comprehensive international medical insurance coverage, the TaiwanICDF also pays for mandatory PCR tests and compensates for quarantine hotels when the volunteers return to the country.

As of January 2022, the TaiwanICDF has dispatched 808 volunteers in 44 countries. During their services, the volunteers share Taiwan’s experiences with locals and after completing the services, they bring their cross-cultural experiences back to Taiwan and enrich the society.
