Project Name:Strengthening Incubator Agribusiness with Human Development Project(PhaseⅡ)

Project status:Completed projects

Cooperating Country:Asia-Pacific, Indonesia

Project Description:

This project is based on cooperation model from Strengthening Incubator Agribusiness with Human Development Project,in order to assist the greenhouse of the Lembang Agriculture Incubator Center (LAIC) and the cargo yard for commercial operation. The project includes four objectives: Improving production stability, Improving the operational efficiency of the collection yard, Expanding production sales channels, Strengthening the execution ability of Indonesian personnel.

Implementation Start Date:2020-04-01

Implementation End Date:2021-12-31

Project Objectives:

1. Creasing the scale of market and contracted farmer system during the 2 year project.
2. Holding workshops for more than 90 farmers per year in specific topics.
3. Stabilizing the quality and quantity of farmer’s production by producing more than 150,000 seedlings in project nursery.
4. Extending farm area of cooperation farmers till 20 hectares.
5. Editing cooperation regulations for 5 different crops in cope of the demand of market.
6. Getting 80 contracted farmers and 200 cooperation farmers.
7. Developing 3 processed agriculture products.
8. Testing 5 new Taiwan’s varieties.
9. 20 hectares cooperation farm area.
10. Getting more than 80 outlets and more than 20 tons vegetable and fruit selling per months.

 TTM in Indonesia / Lembang National Agriculture Training Center (LNATC)

Current Progress:

To the end of December 2021,the following activities have been completed:
1. Training 450 farmers.
2. Cooperating with 25 under contract farmers for 8 hectares land.
3. Assisting the collection yard to process 30 metric tons per month.
4. Expanding 10 new supermarket channels.
5. Developing products including dried guava, dried mango, dried pineapple and dried papaya.
6. Training local personnels in accounting, sales management, inventory management, and project operation.
