The International Cooperation and Development Fund (TaiwanICDF) is cooperating with Taiwan Nurses Association (TWNC) and CARE, a renowned International NGO to conduct the webinar: The Impact of Nursing Empowerment on Health Care System on November 11 (19:00 Taipei Time/ 12:00 Geneva Time/ 06:00 Boston Time) during the resumed 73rd World Health Assembly. In response to the World Health Organization designating 2020 as the International Year of the Nurse and the Midwife, the webinar aims to share best practices in terms of nurse empowerment and identify challenges for future development.

A board member from International Council of Nurses (ICN) will host this webinar as moderator, and the first vice president of ICN will give the featured address. Representatives from TWNC, CARE, and Good Neighbors, and a nurse scholar from Indonesia will share the nursing empowerment strategies and challenges; leadership in nursing transformation; and nursing empowerment in humanitarian settings. The TaiwanICDF will also share how to empower the nurse through training of trainers (ToT) approach for in-service training, and two cases shall be presented.
