The Deputy Secretary General of the TaiwanICDF, Mr. Alex L. J Shyy, is participating in the 10th anniversary of the International Beirut Energy Forum (IBEF) taking place from September 25 to 27, 2019 in Lebanon. The IBEF is one of the reputable energy events in the Middle East and gathers more than 1,000 energy experts from all over the globe each year. This year, the representatives of governments, engineers, bankers, heads of corporations, university professors and researchers meet to work on forging a better future of sustainable energy not only in Lebanon, but also in the Arab World and the Mediterranean.

After the official opening ceremony of the Forum on the morning of September 25, the Lebanese Minister of Energy and Water, H.E. Ms. Nada Boustani Khoury, visited the exhibition grounds, staying at the Green Economy Financing Facility booth jointly installed by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development and the TaiwanICDF, and talked with Mr. Shyy, followed by a group photo.
