Project Description：The Republic of Saint Lucia and Taiwan has been implemented “the fruit and vegetable demonstration and extension project”, to assist the Saint Lucia’s agriculture development and enable technical capacity for cooperating units to operate demonstration farms by themselves. Now, Saint Lucia government are planning to promote of fruits and vegetables business to address the development of the banana industry dilemma of the problem, so that the country's agricultural diversification towards the development of products, and thus achieve the goal of improving the income of farmers. And to promote the households in the second, third, fourth and seventh irrigated areas to meet the needs of the Government of the Loess Government at this stage. The main elements of the program will include: 1. Improving the technical capacity of the Ministry of Agriculture in the promotion of agricultural diversification, 1,950 person-times in technical training; 2. Increasing farmers' willingness to participate in agricultural diversification, creating agricultural diversification Successful households amounted to 80 households.
