Senior Vice President Mr. Steve C. Yang and a fifteen-member delegation of the China Airlines Management Trainee program visited the International Cooperation and Development Fund (TaiwanICDF) on January 20, 2016.

TaiwanICDF Secretary General Amb. Weber V.B. Shih warmly welcomed the delegation from the China Airlines and exchanged views with Mr. Yang on the TaiwanICDF’s operations and projects.

Every new project undertaken by the TaiwanICDF proceeds according to a rigorous project cycle and is backed by mutual covenants signed in cooperation with relevant stakeholders. The assistance provided by the TaiwanICDFcenters on four core operations: lending and investment, technical cooperation, humanitarian assistance, and international education and training. Projects are carried out in a range of developing partner countries and tailor-made to the local needs of each partner country..

Covering a variety of contemporary development issues such as environmental protection, public health, agriculture, education and information and communications technology, the projects are designed to address the strategic development goals of each of our partner countries, pay due consideration to associated regional trends, and maximize results by employing the right combination of capital and technical cooperation.
