TaiwanICDF “2015 TICA CUP” took place at Ming Chuan University, Taipei on November 22, 2015. There were nearly 500 overseas scholarship students enrolled at 21 TICA universities enthusiastically involving in the event. In the winter sun, students showed their vitality within a sea of TICA universities and partner countries waved flags.

The opening ceremony was co-chaired by Amb. Weber V.B. Shih, the Secretary General of TaiwanICDF, and Dr. Chuan Lee, the President of Ming Chuan University. 11 Ambassadors and Embassy representatives of the participants also attended the event. The ninth TICA CUP was composed of fun competitions, like Creativity Approach, Tug of war, Centipede walking, Team Super Relay Race, and so on. In the competitions, all students showed their good team morale. After one day exciting competitions, I-Shou University team won the Annual Champion while the home team Ming Chuan University won the Creativity Approach first prize.

Since the TICA universities are spread throughout Taiwan, it is not easy for overseas scholarship students to meet each other, the TICA CUP not only offers students the opportunity to stretch body and mind, but also offers students the chance to get along with fellow students from other institutions, expanding their learning horizons and their sense of belonging for their universities and the TaiwanICDF.
