Secretary General of the African-Asian Rural Development Organization (AARDO), H.E. Eng. Wassfi Hassan El Sreihin and the Head of PPP Division of AARDO, Mr. Abdul Waheed Anwar visited the International Cooperation and Development Fund (TaiwanICDF) on November 18, 2015.

TaiwanICDF Deputy Secretary General, Lee Pai-po warmly welcomed the delegation from AARDO and exchanged views with H.E. Eng. Wassfi Hassan El Sreihin on rural development issues in African and Asia as well as TaiwanICDF projects regarding professional workshops, seafood, and Agribusiness.

This year, several participants selected by AARDO have took part in TaiwanICDF professional workshops, including Workshop on Production and Marketing for Plant Tissue Culture and Healthy Seedling Propagation, Workshop on Rice Seed Management, Workshop on Farmers' Organizations and Rural Development, Workshop on Agricultural Development Strategies, and Workshop on Green Energy Development. These professional workshops drew on Taiwan’s development experiences in the agricultural sector, with an aim to help partner countries and international organization to cultivate and nurture a talented pool of human resources.
