Project Description：

In cooperation with Food For The Poor, project beneficiaries will gain access to information technology and receive associated training. Taiwan's role in the project will focus on providing the relevant funding toward the acquisition of technology , and performing strategic planning.

When Haiti was struck by a devastating earthquake on January 12, 2010, the project was postponed due to the urgent need for reconstruction. The project was restarted in July 2010, beginning with the procurement of computer hardware running the N-computing system. In 2011, a suite of six software was installed at 53 locations and 58 teachers were trained.

Project Objectives：Narrow the "digital divide" between Haiti and other countries by constructing computer learning centers and installing Ncomputing systems, educational software and similar equipment, in order to improve standards of computer-based educaiton in Haiti.
