Project Description:
A 7.0-magnitude earthquake struck near Haiti's capital of Port-au-Prince on Tuesday, January 12th at 16.53hrs local time (GMT 21.53hrs) collapsing buildings, and affecting nearly three million people in the country.
TaiwanICDF immediately responded to the disaster by cooperating with Taiwan Root Medical Peace Corps, together sent a medical mission to Port-au-Prince Haiti. Under the coordination of Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Republic of China (Taiwan) and Department of Health, Republic of China (Taiwan), TaiwanICDF offer NTD 4 million to cover 42 medical staff and required medical metrical to Haiti. Around 10,000 people were benefited from the project.
