Project Name：2025 Program to Assist Taiwan’s Diplomatic Allies in Medical Capacity Building-Healthcare Personnel Training

Cooperating Country：Marshall Islands, Palau, Tuvalu, Kingdom of Eswatini, Belize, Guatemala, Paraguay, Haiti, St. Vincent and the Grenadines, St. Lucia, St. Christopher (St. Kitts) and Nevis

Project Description：

The program provides a total of 33 medical professionals from Taiwan's diplomatic allies with one-to-three months on-the-job training, to enhance their knowledge and experience, and thereby improving the quality of health care in Taiwan's diplomatic allies.

Implementation Start Date：2025-01-01

Implementation End Date：2025-12-31

Project Objectives：

Through the program to provide on-the-job clinical training opportunities to our diplomatic allies, and assist our diplomatic allies to improve the quality of medical services.

Implementation Arrangement：

Trainees will be distributed to the allied hospitals to get clinical training, exchange professional skills and experience culture differences.

Current Progress：

To the end of May 2025, the following activities have been carried out:

A total of 13 participants from 6 countries has commenced training courses in Taiwan.

Project Performance：

The program provides effective training and improves trainees’ healthcare-related abilities.
