Project Description:
The Russo-Ukrainian war has brought profound and multifaceted impacts to the mental health and psychosocial well-being of Ukrainian people. According to research, more than 10 million Ukrainians are in need of mental health and psychosocial support (MHPSS) services, of whom a significant proportion are children and youth struggling to cope, adapt and transform. In response to this dire situation, the TaiwanICDF launched a new project in collaboration with the Terre des hommes Foundation (Tdh), aiming to improve the mental health and psychosocial well-being of war-affected children, adolescents, and their families in western Ukraine. Overall, the project includes the following:
1. CFS are equipped and maintained.
2. Training sessions for Positive Parenting, Move ON & Engage methodology, and Child Participation are delivered to facilitators.
3. MHPSS activities are delivered to children and parents within CFS and by mobile teams.
4. CABs are established and supported within CFS.

Implementation Arrangement:
During the project implementation, Tdh Ukraine implemented the proposed activities and liaised with local government units and stakeholders. The TaiwanICDF oversaw the project implementation.
