Minister of Agriculture, Forest, Fisheries, Rural Transformation, Industry and Labour of St. Vincent and the Grenadines visits the TaiwanICDF
St. Vincent and the Grenadines Minister of Agriculture, Forest, Fisheries, Rural Transformation, Industry and Labour Hon. Saboto Caesar visited the International Cooperation and Development Fund (TaiwanICDF) on September 19, 2023.
The TaiwanICDF Secretary General, Amb. Charles C. Li. welcomed Minister Hon. Saboto Caesar while exchanging views on the TaiwanICDF’s cooperation projects in St. Vincent and the Grenadines
The TaiwanICDF’s ongoing projects in the country include the Enhancing Public Safety with Intelligent Video Analytics Project, the Improving Vegetable Cultivation Management and Post-harvest Handling Project, the Project for Improving Livestock Rearing in St. Vincent and the Grenadines, Empowerment of Women in Latin America and the Caribbean through Entrepreneurship and Financial Inclusion/ St. Vincent and the Grenadines. The TaiwanICDF also dispatches 60 servicemen to assist with implementing these projects under the Taiwan Youth Overseas Service program.
To date, a total of 184 participants from the St. Vincent and the Grenadines have received training from the TaiwanICDF’s professional workshops, and a total of 78 students have received International Higher Education Scholarships and studied in Taiwan. Currently, a total of 24 students from Saint Vincent and the Grenadines are pursuing higher education in Taiwan.
