
TaiwanICDF Cooperated with National Tsing Hua University on Advanced Management Program for inspiring Innovative Thinking in Allied Countries
To enhance the leadership and decision-making abilities of middle and high-ranking government officials from Taiwan’s allied countries, and also to introduce Taiwan's technology management experience, the TaiwanICDF and National Tsing Hua University jointly established the Advanced Management Program. Fourteen officials, including Lisardo Armando Bolaños, Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Economy of Guatemala, and José Aníbal Giménez Kullak, Director of Industrial Policy of Ministry of Industry and Commerce of Paraguay and senior officials from Haiti, Nicaragua, Belize, Saint Lucia, Honduras, Tuvalu and Eswatini participated in the program.
The program had rich and diverse content, lecturers of National Tsing Hua University compared and analyzed Taiwan’s policies and strategies in technology and innovation, which helped officials from Taiwan’s allied countries have a better overview of Taiwan’s innovation and industrial development models. In addition, in response to the impact of COVID-19, the participants were also very concerned about issues such as post-epidemic economic recovery and industrial transformation. The attendees eagerly look forward to visiting Taiwan after the pandemic eases next year.
