
Saint Kitts Foreign Affairs Leads Delegation to the TaiwanICDF
On March 17, 2025, Dr. Denzil L. Douglas, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Saint Kitts and Nevis, led a six-member delegation to the International Cooperation and Development Fund (TaiwanICDF). The TaiwanICDF extended its sincere welcome to the minister and his delegation.
The delegation was received by TaiwanICDF Secretary General Dr. Yu-Lin Huang. During the meeting, the secretary general provided a comprehensive overview of the TaiwanICDF’s mission and operations, while both parties engaged in in-depth discussions on strengthening bilateral cooperation.
The discussions included a review of past collaboration achievements and an exchange of views on potential future cooperation in key sectors such as agriculture, environment, ICT, and public health. The TaiwanICDF reaffirmed its unwavering commitment to supporting the development needs of Saint Kitts and Nevis through Taiwan’s “dual-axis transformation” strategy centered on a net-zero transition and digitalization. The aim of this strategy is to enhance competitiveness and resilience.
Minister Douglas expressed his deep appreciation for the TaiwanICDF’s longstanding contributions to the development of Saint Kitts and Nevis, and conveyed his hope for continued and strengthened collaboration. The TaiwanICDF reiterated its dedication to advancing impactful and concrete cooperation projects in alignment with the “Diplomatic Allies Prosperity Project” initiative proposed by Minister of Foreign Affairs Dr. Lin Chia-lung. Both parties look forward to fostering sustainable development, deepening diplomatic ties, and achieving mutually beneficial outcomes.
