Project Name:Agribusiness Incubation and Marketing Project in West Java (Indonesia)
Project status:Projects in Operation
Cooperating Country:Asia-Pacific, Indonesia
Project Description:
Recognizing the successful outcomes of the Enhancement of Karawang Vegetable and Fruits Marketing System Project (Indonesia) , Indonesia's Ministry of Agriculture requested Taiwan's assistance in strengthening farmers' technical capacity and market access in the Bogor area of West Java. In response, the proposed project will establish an Agribusiness Incubation Center to support local farmers in upgrading production technologies and improving supply chain management, thereby enhancing the overall efficiency and competitiveness of West Java's agricultural value chain.
The project adopts a dual-track incubation approach. On one hand, it assists Indonesian farmers and their partner organizations in increasing the value of agricultural value chains through technical upgrading and market-oriented development. On the other hand, it identifies structural gaps encountered during project implementation as entry points for Taiwanese small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), facilitating technology transfer and business matchmaking to help them establish a presence and expand into Indonesia's agricultural market.
