Project Description:
The government of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines (SVG) hopes to make use of the Republic of China (Taiwan)’s experience in smart video surveillance and its strength in technology to facilitate talent development and improve the hardware of organizations.

Project Objectives:
The Royal SVG Police Force utilizes the video analytics system to facilitate their investigations. The time spent on investigating cases and collecting evidence from areas under CCTV coverage shrinks by 50%.
Executing Agency:
Taiwan Technical Mission to Saint Vincent and the Grenadines/ Ministry of Finance, Economic Planning, and Information Technology, Information Technology Services Division, and Royal St. Vincent and the Grenadines Police Force.
Current Progress:
To the end of September 2025, the following activities have been completed:
- Conducted the “Advanced Image Recognition and Analysis Course” and the “System and Equipment Maintenance Capability Course,” along with a basic information security briefing.
- Completed the professional report and operation manual.
- Completed off-site backup setup and data center upgrade.
- Completed the upgrade and expansion of the control center.
- Completed work for “Developments in Digital Cities & Challenges in Cyber Security in the Caribbean Forum.”
- Completed installation of all 148 cameras, enhancing the coverage and accessibility of smart video surveillance.
- Completed automatic analysis and notification mechanism of images.
- Held the"Result announcement ceremony"
