Project Description：

To help the Republic of Paraguay build a path to economic recovery and women empowerment in the post COVID-19 era, the TaiwanICDF partners with Fondo de Garantía del Paraguay (FOGAPY), which is administered by Agencia Financiera de Desarrollo, on establishing Fondo de Garantía para la Mujer (FOGAMU), a credit enhancement scheme to address the challenges of women businesses in accessing finance.

Project Objectives：

Assisting women MSMEs in Paraguay in increasing their access to financial services, so as to support women entrepreneurship, women employment and the sustainability of women businesses, and therefore contributing to a more equitable, inclusive, and stable society and economy for the nation.

Executing Agency：

Fondo de Garantía del Paraguay (FOGAPY)

Implementation Arrangement：

Through the establishment of FOGAMU, a credit guarantee scheme dedicated to women MSMEs in Paraguay, this project helps lower the barriers of those women MSMEs which are lack in sufficient collaterals to obtain the financial services needed to maintain their businesses or make capital investments, from the financial institutions accepted by FOGAPY to participate in the project.
