Project Description：Currently, the Kingdom of Eswatini lacks a “systemized” and “digitized information” processing mechanism. Documents and records are still processed in hard-copies and managed manually. Under such circumstances, Government information flow is frequently lost in the delivery process, and also very difficult to manage and track. As a result, Government administration is inefficient, the quality of Government service is poor and administration does not synchronize with management.This project aims to improve Government information processing, promote the development of electronic document and record management and archiving in the Kingdom of Eswatini.

Project Objectives：This project is expected to help the Ministry of ICT, the Cabinet and the Royal Eswatini Police of the Eswatini Government achieve 100% utilization rate of the information processing mechanism and digital document processing system.

Project Performance：1. Eswatini e-Government Development Roadmap.
2. Information Security Gap Analysis.
3. Established the standard workflow and operation mechanism of Government official document.
4. Established the specifications of the EDRMS system requirement and the EDRMS operation management center.
5. Conducted 12 workshops on e-government, information security and e-document for a total of 458 participants.
6. System development of PKI (Public Key Infrastructure) has been completed and accepted. Conducted 4 sessions of PKI training for a total of 49 participants.
7. The ISMS (Information Security Management System and ISO (International Organization for Standardization) 27001 project has been started. Conducted 15 sessions of ISO 27001 training for a total of 250 participants.
8. Development of EDRMS has been completed. Seven sessions of training on the operation and maintenance of EDRMS has been undertaken for a total of 96 participants.
9. Three sessions of EDRMS demonstration and promotion meeting were conducted in July 2019, a total of 190 participants including Secretary to Cabinet, Principal Secretaries, Under Secretaries, Head of Departments, Personal Secretaries to the Principal Secretaries and Senior Registry Officers.
10. A 20-day training on EDRMS capacity building has been undertaken, 5 technical team members have been trained.
11. The EDRMS was launched.
12. The closure and hand-over meeting has been held.
