Project Description：

The Project is to increase financing avaialbe to small enterprises in El Salvador by supporting the expansion of factoring through providing financial and technical assistance to Factoraje Pentagono S.A. de C.V. (Pentagono).

Project Objectives：The general objective of the project is to expand factoring service in El Salvador to suport small enterprises' (SEs) growth. The specific objectives are to support Pentagono in sustainably increasing its factoring portfolio among Salvadoran SEs, and to enhance its corporate governance.

Executing Agency：Pentagono

Implementation Arrangement：Pentagono is to recruit a qualified consultant to enhance its information systems, risk management capacity, etc. in accordance with the IDB/MIF’s procurement guidelines. Furthermore, Pentagono will leverage the project’s loan to provide financial support to meet the Salvadoran SEs operational needs.
