Minister of Education and Training of Kingdom of Swaziland Dr. Phineas Langa Magagula Visits TaiwanICDF
Minister of Education and Training of Kingdom of Swaziland Dr. Phineas Langa Magagula and Lady Gelty Phumlile visited the International Cooperation and Development Fund (TaiwanICDF) on February 1, 2016.
TaiwanICDF Secretary General Amb. Weber V.B. Shih warmly welcomed the honorable guests and exchanged views with Dr. Phineas Langa Magagula on the TaiwanICDF‘s Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) in Swaziland.
The TaiwanICDF’s other ongoing projects in the country include the Seed Potato Production Project, the Fruit Tree Production and Marketing Project, the Pig Industry Enhancement Project, and the FINCORP MSME Re-lending Project. Under the scheme of the Taiwan Youth Overseas Service program, the TaiwanICDF also dispatches servicemen to assist with the implementation of certain projects.
To date, a total of 144 participants from Swaziland received training from the TaiwanICDF’s Professional Workshops, and a total of 72 Swazi students received International Higher Education Scholarships and studied in Taiwan.
