為了協助加勒比海友邦聖克里斯多福及尼維斯的農民因應氣候變遷的影響，國合會在今年啟動了一個全新的計畫 ✨

To help the agriculture sector of St. Kitts and Nevis with the impacts of CLIMATE CHANGE, the TaiwanICDF started a new project.

這個計畫將分別從以下三個面向，來提升克國農業系統的韌性(resilience)
✔ 建立早期預警資訊蒐集機制
✔ 研發或引介作物防減災技術
✔ 提升農業資訊普及率

It includes:
– Establish an early warning data gathering mechanism;
– Develop and introduce crop disaster mitigation and prevention techniques;
– Increase the availability of agricultural information

當計畫結束時，克國農業將擁有因應氣候變異的資訊預警與調適能力，而農民們也將可從政府所建立的「農業防災資訊傳播機制」上，運用相關資訊來降低災害損失 🌈

When the project is completed, St. Kitts’ agricultural agencies will establish an INFORMATION DISSEMINATION MECHANISM for crop disaster mitigation and prevention, so that farmers can make use of the available information to minimize damage caused by disasters.
