The project will finance capital expenditure aimed to increase existing production capacities.  It also supports the green innovation of the Uzbekistan’s agribusiness by supporting the investment in corporate’s energy and resource efficiency measure.

The project aims to improve the competitiveness and enhance the investment in greening production.

Projected Benefits：

Competitiveness : the Project supports operational changes leading to competitiveness improvements, aiming to increase production capacity of the plant and ensure the higher quality of products to be produced for the local market and also for export.

Green : The percentage of EBRD use of proceeds allocated to green component  is at least 15%, including  the investment in installing a CO capture and recuperation system and to improve packaging practices by significantly increasing the share of returnable packaging. The company will also introduce more efficient filtration and cooling systems and acquire cooling units that operate on natural-based refrigerants.
