Project Description：Strengthen the capacity of water service providers in Honduras to operate as financially viable organizations and increase the resilience of underserved communities through dependable water services that enable them to maintain hygiene measures to reduce risk of contagion of COVID 19 and to mitigate the impact of droughts and floods.

Project Objectives：Providing safe, stable and continue water services, impacting the lives of people in under-served communities at scale.

Executing Agency：

Catholic Relief Services (CRS)

Implementation Arrangement：The technical assistance is led by CRS with support from a local non-government organization, Agua Para el Pueblo, which experiences on WASH, environment and municipal constructions. The technical assistance is carried out by leveraging the resources from the central and municipal governments. The activities of technical assistance include training, design and engineering, system diagnostics, market and financial due diligence studies, loan application and management support, and monitoring and reporting.
