Project Name: One Town, One Product Project in Nicaragua
Project Description: The objective of this project is to contribute to the strengthening of social and community development, as well as the family economy of the protagonists linked to the craft activity in Masaya.
This initiative aims to be implemented through the "One People, One Product" methodology that proposes the creation of a municipal self-management mechanism, in which the development of unique products and services, associated with the cultural identity of the populations, should increase territorial competitiveness and access to new markets to achieve income improvement and the strengthening of human resources; The Government of Reconciliation and National Unity, in its intention to boost the economic activity of the communities with craftsmanship in the department of Masaya in Nicaragua, through this initiative, aims to enhance local capacities, innovation of handicrafts, improvement technological production and the creation of business opportunities.
Implementation Start Date: 2018/10/1
Implementation End Date: 2021/6/30
Project Objectives: To form a platform that can facilitate the transformation of the business model to the craftsmen in Masaya, in which they can increase the income to the protagonists at least 10% after the end of the project.

2.Taiwan Technical Mission in the Republic of Nicaragua
Current Progress: To the end of March 2021, the following activities have been completed:
1.Held on one consensus camp, one leather processing workshop, and one ceramics workshop.
2.Held one Nicaragua Food Culture Exhibition and Cultural Experience Training.
3.Set up one mobile shop.
4.Developed one ceramic art product "Toro Venado" and "Toro Encuetado", also leather strap for Apple Watch.
5.Set up one “Creative City” in San Juan de Oriente, Masaya.
6.Held one local characteristic sightseeing experience festival.
7.Set up one website of "Featured Products". (https://otopnica.com/)
