Executive Training Program
High-level officials of Foreign Ministries, or
Officials from other Ministries recommended by the Foreign Ministries
of Central American countries, Belize and the Republic of China.
Qualified candidates must also be:
Employed by the sponsoring Ministry at least three years, and under 45 years old.

Note: all documents must be provided in English.

Recommendation letters (if
the candidate is not from the Foreign Ministry,
he or she should have two recommendation letters, one
from the Foreign
Ministry and a second from the employing ministry.)
Note: Copies of recommendation letters are not acceptable.

- Resume or curriculum vitae.
- Autobiography (not exceeding 500 words).
- Employed by the sponsoring Ministry at least three years, and
- under 45 years old.

Documents provided by Candidates

Confirmation letter (see below) Please fill in and address to the Secretary
of the Fund, ICDF. Please sign your name at the end of the letter. The
sponsoring Ministry should also sign to certify the candidate.
Note: Copies of confirmation letters are not acceptable.

Study plan (not exceeding 500 words).

Admission letter from the selected university
Note: Copies of admission letters are acceptable. The candidate may submit
the admission letter later, but no less than one month prior to expected month
of commencement of study.
In each stage, the Fund will examine the above
documents. Whether or not the
nominated candidate receives initial and final approval by
the Fund, the Fund will
inform the candidate of the results through his or her Foreign
Ministry.
Disbursement Procedures

Once the ICDF has received a full set of application documents (including
admission letter from the university), and all the documents have approved
by the Fund, the organization will remit up to US$50,000 to the Foreign
Ministry of the candidate's country. Candidates may apply for the scholarship
through their Foreign Ministries.

When candidates have completed registration procedures with their selected universities, the candidates' Foreign Ministries should submit two receipts to
the Fund, one is for the payment of tuition fees, the other for the payment of
allowance to the candidates.

Each country's Foreign Ministry should summit photocopies of candidates'
master's degree diplomas and formal transcripts (copies are not acceptable)
to the Fund after the completion of the candidates' study programs.
