Project Name: HCV Research Project in Indonesia
Project Description: In order to response to the call of WHO for elimination of viral hepatitis, TaiwanICDF collaborates with the Center for Disease Analysis Foundation (CDAF) to promote the hepatitis C epidemiological research project in Indonesia. This project will conduct disease progression and economic impact analyses, which will be a reference for the Indonesian government to develop a national hepatitis elimination plan.

Implementation End Date: 2020/6/12
Source of Funding: TaiwanICDF
Project Objectives: Produce a policy recommendations report.
Implementation Arrangement: This project will conduct disease progression and economic impact analyses, which will be a reference for the Indonesian government to develop a national hepatitis elimination plan.
Current Progress: To the end of March 2020, the following activities have been carried out:
1. Developed HCV disease burden and economic impact model with literature search and some updated data.

2. Planned a meeting with the Ministry of Health and relevant stateholders to develop a national hepatitis elimination plan.
