Project Name: 2017-2019 ROC(Taiwan) and Burkina Faso Medical Cooperation Project
Project Description: Under cooperation between the TaiwanICDF and National Taiwan University Hospital Yunlin Branch, this project aims to improve and strengthen the healthcare quality and system in central and west region of Burkina Faso through the transition of medical skills and capacity building.

Project Objectives: The objectives of this project are:
A. Strengthening medical staffs' specialty, by
(a) dispatching a Taiwan medical team
(b) capacity building of Burkinka Faso specialists
(c) assisting to provide mobile medical services
(d) providing thematic medical services
(e) assisting to optimize the specialized medical services
B. Supplimenting of necessary hardware to be able to provide specialized medical care
Implementation Arrangement: Dispatch healthcare personnel for technical assistance and build up local capacity.
Current Progress: To the end of March 2017, the following activities have been carried out:
1. Annual goals have been confirmed with Ministry of Health and Koudougou friendship hospital.
2. Six outreach sites have been identified and pre-surveyed.
