Project Name: EBRD Financial Intermediary Investment Special Fund-Small Business Account
Project Description: The TaiwanICDF committed an amount of US$10 million to the Small Business Account (SBA) under the FIISF to co-finance in EBRD financed projects supporting small and medium-sized enterprises in the eligible countries.
The invested projects included 【Krygyz Micro and Small Enterprise Finance Facility -Phase II】,【Small Business Account- ETC Non-bank MFI Framework 】,【Microfinance Bank of Georgia】,【ProCredit Bank in Ukraine】,【Bank of Respublika】,【Bank of Baku】, and【Turkey Deniz Bank SME Club Deal Loan】.

Project Objectives: To alleviate the funding constraints faced by the small and medium sized enterprises (“SMEs”) in EBRD’s countries of operations, TaiwanICDF set up the FIISF-SBA to co-finance with EBRD for the lending operation in SMEs.

Implementation Arrangement: The EBRD will administer the TaiwanICDF-funded contribution in accordance with Article 18 of the Agreement Establishing the Bank and its Rules and Regulations.
