Project Name: Rehabilitation & Upgrading of Highway No. 5 Project (Vietnam)
Project Description: The project comprises four components:
  1. Rehabilitation and upgrading works of Highway No. 5, from 47 km through 62 km, including the construction of a new bypass and three new bridges.
  2. Consulting services for the design, implementation, and supervision of the project.
  3. Consulting services for the implementation of component (A) as described above.
  4. Administrative expenditures incurred by the executing agency.

Project Objectives: Improve transportation infrastructure in a northern region of Vietnam.
Executing Agency: PMU-5
Implementation Arrangement: To ensure quality, the general consultant was limited to and selected from the territory of Taiwan and was responsible for the design and implementation of component (A) described above.
