International Volunteer Forum and Exhibition
Do you like to experience different cultures and getting to know people from different countries?
Are you compassionate, strong-minded and up for a challenge?
Have you ever thought about doing something to make the world a better place?
Since 1996 … the TaiwanICDF Overseas Volunteers Service has already provided opportunities for hundreds of volunteers to make the most of their talents in Africa, the Pacific, Central America and the Caribbean. Their work has included environmental protection in St. Lucia, teaching English to children in Panama, and promoting public health education while serving alongside nurses in Tuvalu.
Over two days of activities, our International Volunteer Forum and Exhibition will invite volunteers who have returned to Taiwan to share their experiences of serving overseas. Also on display at the venue will be Your Destination, My Homeland, an exhibition of photojournalism, international cooperation and culture, as well as an exhibition of cultural items gathered from around Africa, the Pacific, Central America and the Caribbean. There will also be a range of interactive activities and experiences for visitors to take part in. The event will be sure to open new horizons for anybody thinking about volunteering overseas or for people interested in foreign cultures.
